I hold an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, where I focused on providing radically inclusive therapy from a holistic, humanistic perspective. I work with adults, couples, and relationships using a combination of attachment theory, mindfulness practices, and our relationship in the therapy room. I also have a B.F.A in Gender and Women’s Studies from UC Berkeley, and I am passionate about intersectional therapy that addresses the psychological impact of systemic inequalities, and does not recreate power imbalances in the therapy room.
In my previous experience, I had the pleasure of training at the Pacific Center for Human Growth, serving the LGBTQ++ community. I welcome all people from all identities and backgrounds into my practice.
Mindfulness meditation practices and depth psychotherapy have been incredibly impactful on my life, and I feel very grateful to get to share these tools with you.
What to Expect
I offer sliding scale therapy, based on income, ranging from $90 - 130 for a 50-minute individual session. For couples therapy I offer both 50 or 80-minute sessions.
I accept cash, check or card payments. I cannot accept insurance at this time, but I can provide you with a superbill for reimbursement — please check with your healthcare provider to see if this is an option for you.
I also offer video therapy sessions, after an initial session in person.
My office is located at 4000 Broadway, Suite 3. It’s a ten minute walk from MacArthur BART and two blocks from Piedmont Ave. There is metered parking close by, and free two-hour parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. The office has two sets of stairs and no elevator.
